Hello everyone and thank you for coming back! I pray this post finds you well and keeps you going in this month of May.
I have been planning this post in my head for some weeks now . I am pleased to finally share it with you all. Indeed it is easier said than done. To tell you the truth, If it wasn’t for the Grace of God, seriously I don’t know how I would have made it happen.
If you have been following my blog, you will realise that the aim is to be transparent and also share the defining moments of my life. This means I get to share my life experiences, as well as what God lays on my heart with you all. I hope you join in with me always
In addition to this, the target is to post once a month. Hence, when the month began I kept meditating on what God is teaching me in this season and the struggle came, as I was yet to hear and get confirmation on what God was laying on my heart. The good news is that God came through
God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill? Numbers 23:19 NIV
Therefore, It is my prayer that the grace of God will help you to accomplish everything you desire according to His will and any targets you have set for yourself this year. His grace will definitely help you to get through it . Trust Him always and never give up!
That brings us to the post for this month…. GOD’S AMAZING GRACE!
One thing I love about being a child of God and an heir of His Kingdom is that, the Bible always have answers regarding every situation you will or may be going through. Isn’t it cool ? Well for me it is 🏾. For this reason, I don’t need to look to the world but rather look into the WORD!
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. Heb 13:8 NIV
According to the Christian Kingdom, the number ‘5’ stands for GRACE. Seeing that we are in the fifth month (May), I believe we need more grace, not just for this month but everyday of our lives.
Grace, as most of us know stands for ‘Unmerited Favour’. In all sincerity, I am guilty of not paying attention to words unless I need it. Wherefore, I underestimated the significance of Grace until I read The Amplified Bible version of 1 Corinthians 16:23
“The grace of our Lord Jesus [His unmerited favor, His spiritual blessing, His profound mercy] be with you.” 1 CORINTHIANS 16:23 AMP
Can you now see what I am talking about… the AMP bible expands it better by breaking it down. This I love so much as the word comes alive and confirms exactly what Hebrew 4:12 says:
For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
(Just a quick tip when studying the bible, always be open and confident to use other translations for more understanding).
I understand that the topic, ‘Grace’ is too powerful to just simplify into one post. However, the idea is to give a glimpse of the significance and impact this Simple yet Powerful Word: GRACE is. Please, hold on to it with high esteem the next time you encounter Grace! Never take it for granted.
What shall we say [to all this]? Should we continue in sin and practice sin as a habit so that [God’s gift of] grace may increase and overflow?Rom 6:1 AMP
So I humbly ask you this question… What situation are you in and do you believe God’s unmerited favour, spiritual blessing and profound mercy can be of help to you? Well, why don’t you ask for His Amazing Grace?
The good news is that, His Grace comes with more than you can ever imagine. This is because it causes great surprise or sudden wonder too! Yes my dear, you heard me right as I just stated the definition for what Amazing means . That is exactly what His amazing grace can do!
To conclude, God’s Grace will cause great surprises and sudden wonders of his mercy, blessing and unmerited favour, which we don’t deserve. And definitely not even our good works can make it happen or manifest in our lives every single day, but the dependable Grace of God! Don’t forget that Grace always responds to the Obedience of God.
If you don’t want this, then I don’t know what more you want, as this is what I humbly pray for you. Selah
